Guiding
Our guiding is all private. It separates into day or multiday hike. You can choose your destination from our list on "Guiding" page or if you have an idea let us know. We can customize your guiding trip.
Although we are happy to help you, we do not make a reservation of your accommodation, train tickets or anything before and after our guiding. We organize mountain hut reservation and transportation on the guiding day.
How to make a reservation
Basically, we take booking as it comes in. (We will put availability calendar or available dates in the future.)
If you get interested in any of our guiding, contact us, please.
To make a booking, let us know with your name and age, plus...
1. which guiding plans you are interested in
2. which date you want to do it
3. how many in your group
I will get back to you with the availability, then we will give you more information and ask you necessary information (like your name, age, hiking background, medical history etc.)
For multi-day hike, it is totally depending on the availability of mountain huts. Once we get your request for multi-day hike, we will check the mountain huts availability and get back to you as soon.
Payment
Once we had enough communication about your guiding plans, we will send you invoice to pay.
The payment is accepted by credit card. (We use Stripe for payment system.) We do not take deposit. Check out our cancellation policy (Terms & Conditions) before you make a payment. Or you can pay in cash at the site. This payment is for guiding fee only. Transportation fee and mountain hut fee are not included so please pay at the site. The booking is confirmed when you made a payment for guiding fee.
Rental gears
It is very important to have proper mountain gears especially when we go to alpine area. Those gears protect you and make your trip comfortable. Please check what to bring on our guiding page and we will give you details when you made a booking of our trip. We do not have rental equipment service. Here is one of the rental companies for your hike. You do not have to carry mountain gears all the time with you while you are in Japan.

Insurance
We do not provide any insurance. We would strongly recommend you to have insurance to cover mountain accident (rescue, hospital, transprtation etc.) Please check if your travel insurance covers mountain accident for hiking activity or not. We have never had severe accident yet in our guiding. Also, the guide is trained for first aid.
